My favorite camping is "Beachside" in Hayle. A steep way brings you to the"closest thing to heaven" with a sunset in St.Ives Bay.

The coast along Beacon Drive, St Agnes. Brilliant view. In high tide, the sea would come hammering on the rocks. In low tide it would withdraw 100 - 200 meters and expose a sandy beach.

If you speak to a non camper about campsite life you will probably hear about muddy fields, chilly ablutions blocks, or even non-existent facilities, and for many their view of camping is based on distant childhood memories of trips with the Scouts or Brownies.

We camped in St Agnes, cornwall. Did a great vegetarian BBQ. It was quite chilly and windy, so the BBQ's warmth was useful :)
